Orp Industries - light & bell

The Orp is a combination dual tone, high decibel bike horn and front beacon light  all in a super small, USB rechargeable, weather resistant package.  It’s designed to make you more visible by making you more hearable.

Orp’s mission is to make human powered  activities safer and more fun, and with this functional and stunning looking product, they're well on the way to achieving that mission.

To keep it as small and green as possible,  the designers powered it with a rechargeable lithium Ion battery. The battery has more than enough grunt to not only power the 2 tone horn, but also a powerfull set of LED lights.  Commuting cyclists all need a light so the Orp makes a logical combination of both light and sound in a super compact unit.  

• 3 light modes, slow strobe, fast strobe and constant on
• two high-output LED's deliver 70 lumens each, so you can see as well as be seen
• At any time, flick the small lever on the back of the Orp up with your thumb for a friendly tweet-like 76 decibel sound to let people know your coming up behind them
• Press down on the lever for a loud 96 decibel horn-like sound to avoid becoming road-kill!

The product is easily removed for avoiding theft and easy recharging. Orp was also designed to be highly serviceable. If a mechanical part is damaged or broken, it is easily replaceable.

Each Orp comes complete with the Orp Power Kit (a micro USB/USB cable) and  Orp’s Handle Bar Girth Enhancement Device (rubber shim) for thinner handle bars.
